Steve and Darci were called to plant Origin Church in 2016 with a group of God-seekers in Lowell, Arkansas. They have two teenaged girls, Eliza and Malakya, who keep them humble.

Steve and Darci served as elders teachers, and worship ministers prior to Origin. Steve was director of a school of supernatural ministry – Adullam School of Warriors.

Steve and Darci developed a relationship with Jack Taylor, a father to many sons in the faith who are well-known pastors today. Jack helped guide Origin in the beginning and led Steve to connect with Randy Clark and the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening. Steve was licensed through ANGA in 2017 and ordained in 2020. Origin continues to serve under the umbrella of ANGA.
